独立单元回转库，具有数控回转库相同的原理和功能，它将箱斗横向分隔为若干个存储单元，每一个存储单元对应一个独立的控制门。这样可以避免数控回转库箱斗运行停止后，可以在整个箱斗中取走任何物料。特别对高附加值物料存取，具有安全、准确、快速的特点。通过扫码或输入物料编码，设备将自动运行，到达存储单元运行位置后，控制门将自动弹开，从而完成物料的自动存取。同时系统将记录物料的数量、所在存储单元的位置，以方便查询、追溯及自动盘存。
